Chinafy applies rule-based Smart Actions on files to achieve optimisation on an ongoing basis. If you wish to undo Smart Actions on specific files for testing purposes, it is strongly recommended that you share your objective with our support team so we can better assist you before you take action.
Here are the instructions to un-do Chinafy Smart Actions on the Dashboard:
Un-copy files from Chinafy
Our platform intelligently copies selected files to the Chinafy file domain for optimised delivery. If you wish to un-copy files from Chinafy, you may follow the steps below:
- Log into the Chinafy Dashboard to access your website
- Go to
on the left panel
- Choose
on the drop-down menu
- Go to the desired folder subdirectory
- Click Resource on the Dashboard to enter your filename (see below)
- Under Resolution, click Ignore (see below). The selected file will then be uncopied from Chinafy, which should take effect once cache expires.
Note: If you'd like us not to copy specific files by default, you can also set the cache header of the corresponding files to no-cache. You can read more about this on Chinafy Best Practices for Website Development.
