Does Chinafy work with Google reCAPTCHA?

It depends. 

Chinafy can support websites that contain reCAPTCHA-like functionality, provided some basic technical requirements are met. 

It is important to note that reCAPTCHA is a third-party service that remains outside of Chinafy control. Relatedly, there are other potential variables beyond our control that may limit our capabilities to send responses that can be validated by reCAPTCHA.

Potential complications include - 

1. reCAPTCHA score threshold on reCAPTCHA Enterprise
2. reCAPTCHA via 3rd-party services (e.g. Contact Form 7 or Customer Fields)

reCAPTCHA Score Threshold 

reCAPTCHA score is a rating generated by reCAPTCHA Enterprise based on interactions with your site and real traffic.

According to Google -

"reCAPTCHA Enterprise has 11 levels for scores with values ranging from 0.0 to 1.0. The score 1.0 indicates that the interaction poses low risk and is very likely legitimate, whereas 0.0 indicates that the interaction poses high risk and might be fraudulent."

If you/your website service provider install(s) score-based keys, there is the option to define a score threshold. It is possible that requests from Chinafy do not meet the threshold that is set in place, and therefore are unable to pass through.

Squarespace is a known service provider with high score thresholds on the platform level. As the threshold is defined beyond the control of Chinafy and Squarespace users, neither party can guarantee that requests to meet the score threshold and reCAPTCHA responses sent via Chinafy to be validated.  

reCAPTCHA via 3rd-party Services (e.g. Contact Form 7 or Customer Fields)

reCAPTCHA is sometimes enabled via a third party such as Contact Form 7 or Customer Fields. These third-party services can use bot filters that can mis-categorise requests from Chinafy or prone to be more sensitive to requests from regions such as China. 

We recommend that you contact your service provider (i.e. Content Management System, or Agency) about submitting reCAPTCHA requests via Chinafy to ensure compatibility with our solution.
