Best Practices on Using Chinafy for Apex Sites

To "go live" on Chinafy, Apex domains (e.g. website.com) rely on a more restrictive IP address convention. As part of this, both China + Global queries are delivered by Chinafy with

• SSL certificate being managed and auto-renewed by Chinafy for secure delivery (China or otherwise)
• AWS Cloudfront (CDN) accelerating and caching your site based on your cache headers

When you deploy updates on a global level, kindly follow the below best practices to ensure a smooth process. 

Pre-deployment

Set a reasonably short cache time 

Contact your developers to ensure your cache headers are defined with a reasonably short cache time. This allows your cache to expire naturally within a shorter window of time. Our suggested value is no longer than 10 minutes (i.e. 600 seconds).

Post-deployment

Purge cache via the Chinafy Dashboard

With a relatively short cache time, you shouldn't have to purge cache yourself but if you'd like to speed up the process, follow this guide to purge cache globally.
