How to generate your Origin certificate on Cloudflare?

Is your SSL encryption mode set to Full (Strict)? 

This means a few things on Cloudflare -

• Cloudflare enforces HTTPS between your visitor and Cloudflare and makes connections to the origin using the scheme requested by the visitor. 
• Cloudflare requires a trusted CA or Cloudflare Origin CA certificate on the server

By extension, this also means that you'll need to generate a trusted CA or Cloudflare certificate to use with your Chinafy site. See steps below -

1. Log in to Cloudflare

2. Go to SSL/TLS

3. Click Origin Server to Create Certificate

4. Check Generate private key and CSR with Cloudflare

5. Under Hostnames, enter your Chinafy-subscribed domain, e.g. www.yoursite.com

6. Under Certificate Validity, select the longest option possible. We recommend 15 years.

 

7. Click to copy your Origin Certificate and Private Key

 

8. Pass the copied information to your account manager or Chinafy Support team [e-mail]. Chinafy will install your unique SSL certificate on your Chinafy site.
