We recommend that you keep your Time to Live (TTL) for all the DNS updates between 600 to 3600 (i.e. 10 minutes to 1 hour) during the Go-Live process.
While we take steps to ensure a smooth Go-Live, innocent mistakes may still happen (e.g. typos, fat fingers, we get it). And when they do, a low TTL will make sure any cache from the incorrect settings expire as soon as possible.
After Go-Live is completed, you're of course free to extend the TTL depending on your needs.
