How to trigger a website scan on Chinafy Dashboard

Note: It is strongly advised that you contact your account manager before making changes on the Chinafy dashboard as configurations may impact your site experience for users, especially if your site is live.

Chinafy copies updates on your original site over to the Chinafy version upon discovery so there's generally nothing much from you for the two versions to stay in sync. 

But of course - if you'd like to speed up the process, we got you covered. You can:

1. Rescan selected pages to sync existing pages
2. Add new pages to scan to apply optimization on new pages
3. Rescan your entire site to sync a major revamp

See below for the steps.

1. Rescan selected pages

Step 1: Log in to your Chinafy Dashboard
Step 2: Select your site
Step 3: Go to 'Page Manager' under 'Site Status' on the left panel
Step 4: Go to your URLs on the bottom of the page
Step 5: Next to the pages you'd like to rescan, expand the menu icon to select 'rescan'

Step 6: Wait for the rescan to complete. It may take anywhere between 5 to 30 minutes depending on how many pages are being rescanned. Once complete, the system will generate a timestamp under 'Last Scan'. See a reference below -

 

2. Add new pages to scan

Step 1: Log in to your Chinafy Dashboard
Step 2: Select your site
Step 3: Go to 'Page Manager' under 'Site Status' on the left panel
Step 4: Go to your URLs on the bottom of the page
Step 5: Enter the partial URL(s) into the highlighted field.

Note: Skip your domain name, i.e. only enter '/thisisademopage' if your full URL is 'www.demo/thisisademopage'.

Step 6: Click 'Add & scan this page'

Step 7: Wait for the rescan to complete. It may take anywhere between 5 to 30 minutes depending on how many pages are being rescanned. Once complete, the system will generate a timestamp under 'Last Scan'. See a reference below -

3. Rescan your entire site

Step 1: Log in to your Chinafy Dashboard
Step 2: Select your site
Step 3: Go to 'Page Manager' under 'Site Status' on the left panel
Step 4: Click 'Rescan Site'

Step 5: Wait for the rescan to complete. It may take anywhere between 5 to 30 minutes depending on how many pages are being rescanned. Once complete, the system will generate a timestamp under 'Last Scan'. See a reference below -
