Is part of your site not working as intended? The first step for us to troubleshoot any broken functionality is to be able to replicate it after you.
With this in mind, we'd suggest that you follow the below steps -
1. Make sure the user stays within your subscribed domain
Login/purchase journey often takes a user through various (sub)domains – including ones that are outside of your Chinafy subscription.
For example, if you're subscribed to Chinafy under "www.yoursite.com" and not your other domains such as "account.yoursite.com", any broken functionality on the latter is possibly a result of the lack of optimization, if not a misconfiguration on your end.
If you'd like to fix it, contact us to help evaluate it under an additional Chinafy plan.
2. Try viewing your site via different browsers, devices, and locations
Replicate the issue across devices, browsers (incognito preferred), and locations as best you can.
If you're testing new functionality that's not syncing on the Chinafy site (yet), follow this guide to purge the cache.
3. Make a note of your testing environment
User-specific issues are hard to investigate after the fact as not all of them are duplicatable so it'd be most helpful if you could help us rule out any related variables.
To do so, make a note of your testing environment:
- Describe your device type, browser type, and network conditions
- Document the issues with screenshots or recordings
Send the above findings to our support team.
4. Test the same page outside of China
Our automation rules keep the Chinafy version of your site in sync with your original. Functionality-wise, we "inherit" the set-up of your original site so when a component is broken, the same is reflected on the Chinafy version of your site.
So if you're able to verify the issue on a global level, contact your in-house developer immediately to address it.
Otherwise, get in touch with our support team with any findings from (3) so we can help.
